Distribute the remaining foodgrains of BPL, APL and 'Antyodaya' on war footing.

Food and Civil Supply Minister Pritam Singh expressing his discontentment on the non distribution of foodgrains in time directed the officers of the department to distribute the remaining foodgrains of BPL, APL and 'Antyodaya' on war footing.
Reviewing the meeting of Food and Civil Supply Department at Secretariat on Friday, Minister Pritam Singh said that despite sufficient availability of foodgrains it was not being distributed. He asked the officers to ensure distribution of food grains well in time. He asked them to launch comprehensive campaign to check black-marketing of domestic cooking gas and their commercial use, fake ration cards and maintain quality while purchasing wheat and rice for State Pool. He instructed them to constitute teams for Garhwal and Kumaon regions to ensure quality control. He laid emphasis on strengthening Public Distribution System.
Mr. Pritam Singh said that lots of complaints were being received from consumers against non distribution of ration. As per their complaints they were not being issued ration in time. He said that if any such complaint would be received then the officers and workers of that particular area would have to face stringent action. He directed the officers to ensure distribution of remaining foodgrains under APL, BPL and 'Antyodaya' and kerosene oil. He said that the kerosene ought to be distributed in Char Dham Yatra and hill areas well in time. He asserted that no complaints should be received as far as distribution of kerosene oil was concerned.
 Minister Pritam Singh taking seriously the quality control asked the officers to provide him with the details of measures taken to ensure quality and show him the register.
Also present on the occasion were Commissioner Food and Civil Supply Subardhan, Additional Secretary Food and Civil Supply UC Kabadwal and all District Supply Officers.
