Shri Ajit Singh, the Minister of Civil Aviation informed Rajya Sabha today in a written reply that as per the Air Services Agreement between India and China, designated airlines of both countries are entitled to operate 42 services per week to each other’s territory. At present, Air China is operating 10 services per week to/from India. Air Services are a vital link between two nations to promote trade, tourism and people to people contact.
